Fire TV Radar

  1. Which file formats can be displayed?
The app can display PDF, Microsoft PowerPoint (PPT, PPTX, POT), Google Slides, Keynote (KEY), Pages (PAGES), Numbers (NUMBERS), OpenOffice Presentations (ODP), OpenOffice Documents (ODT), OpenOffice Spreadsheets (ODS), Microsoft Word (DOC, DOCX, DOT, DOTX), and Microsoft Excel (XLS, XLSX) file formats.

  2. Where can the app open my files?
The app can open files from local storage, box, Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive, and OneDrive for Business. You can sign into cloud storage within the app to access your online files.

  3. How do I sign into Google Drive on the Fire TV?
Google Drive requires an external browser for login. You must install Amazon's Silk Browser on the Fire TV before logging into Google Drive.

  4. How do I use the Amazon Fire TV Remote?
The four directions on the DPAD are used to control the presentation. The DPAD's up button will start a slidshow. The DPAD's down button will blank the screen. The DPAD's left and right buttons will go back or forward in the presentation. Select the back button on the remote to leave the presentation.

  5. Help, my presentation doesn't look exactly the same!
The app converts all files to PDF format prior to display. This conversion may not be perfect for all presentations in all file formats. If the conversion is not perfect for your file, printing it to PDF and then using the PDF version in the app should provide 100% fidelity.
